Dominique has two Master's degrees in Italian art history and art curatorship. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Sir William Dobell Scholarship for Classical Drawing and Painting at Sydney’s Julian Ashton Art School. He has taught visual arts classes at numerous locations in greater Sydney, including community centres, art societies and as a guest teacher for firms and businesses. Dominique has a proven track record in coherently communicating the skills necessary for absolutely anyone who wishes to learn to draw. Shared class engagement is central to the structure of all his courses and expanding of his students' intellectual parameters is his passion. His classes integrate a knowledge gained from experience and research within his own visual arts practice and his ongoing study of art history. Linda Moctezuma has been an English Teacher in a Sydney High School for most of her career. She taught adults at WEA in the late 90's and recently completed a Masters by Research degree in English Literature at USYD. Linda was a lecturer at UNSW for Master of Education students where she taught teachers in training.  She is a member of two book clubs, one focusing exclusively on "World Literature". Linda is considering retirement soon and will focus now on her primary passion which is Literature.

Positive, supportive and highly experienced, Susanne is a passionate language teacher who helps students build confidence and communicate naturally in Spanish. Known for her fun filled teaching, creativity and patience, Susanne has over 25 years' experience teaching all ages and levels. A qualified Spanish interpreter and multilinguist, Susanne creates a relaxed, motivating classroom where students feel at ease as they learn.

Tibor Molnar studied Chemical Engineering at UNSW in the 1960s, but then forged a career in IT and business. Retired in 2003, he now pursues a wide range of interests: from physics and neuroscience to AI and philosophy. An Honorary Associate of the Department of Philosophy, University of Sydney, Tibor teaches Philosophy and Science at the university’s Centre for Continuing Education and the WEA. A book is also on the way. For Tibor, the pursuit of understanding is the most rewarding of human endeavours, and his enthusiasm for Science in all its forms is well reflected in his presentation style.

Following completion of university studies in 1971, like many boomers of the day, Chris went abroad for a number of years. Moving about, he became intrigued by differences and similarities among a host of cultures and languages. After settling for a time in Italy and then in France, he found work as a consultant to European companies engaging with the Anglo American world, by assisting them to bridge invisible but problematic cultural divides. In this work he found himself amid teams, managers and engineers who were being prepared to implement large infrastructure projects, or to conduct high level negotiations in the USA, Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia. Working inside these projects, his fascination with cultural differences morphed into a deep interest in Myth.

Collecting myths, one is astonished to find the same human puzzles being addressed inside cultural silos near and far around the world, recounted in stories ancient and modern that are often quite similar. These coincidences speak to the deep stuff of human experience and shed insight upon the richness of cultures during very ancient times, our social histories, the role of language, the conundrums of our far off ancestors and their efforts to make sense of mysteries we still strive to understand. Chris has tertiary attainments in a broad spread of academic and technological fields, yet it is the world of myth that keeps him in awe.

David Morgan had a career in industrial training in a range of industries and has taught at the WEA in Adelaide for the past four years. He developed his skills as a teacher during his officer training while completing national service in 1972. He became a qualified industrial trainer in 1974 (Certificate IV equivalent). He has a passionate interest in Spanish history and has travelled extensively in Spain visiting Roman and other ancient sites. He is also widely read on the subject of ancient Iberian/Spanish history. He has published an e-book travel guide to significant archaeological sites in Spain. He is an enthusiastic teacher who presents using numerous visual aids including his own photographs, handouts, and session notes to reinforce the topics discussed.

Miyu is a Bachelor of Business student at UTS, majoring in Advertising & Marketing Communications and International Business. She is a bilingual Japanese-English speaker with experience working with and supporting learners in different environments. Miyu focuses on creating engaging, supportive, and interactive lessons that help students build confidence in their communication skills. She is passionate about making learning practical, enjoyable, and easy to understand, with a strong emphasis on real-life language use and student participation.

Dr Sally Morris has a BA with 1st class Honours and PhD from Macquarie University and a Diploma of Fine Arts from COFA (Uni. NSW). Sally specialises in the comparative study of ancient Egyptian, Near Eastern, Greek and Roman art, myth, religion and history as well as women’s studies, and has tutored and lectured on these topics at Macquarie for nearly 10 years and at WEA since 2011. She was an education officer at Macquarie’s Museum of Ancient Cultures, and a designer and project manager of educational displays and exhibitions at The Australian Museum, the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and TAFE. Sally’s approach to teaching is highly interactive and carefully crafted to ensure enjoyable, immersive learning experiences supported by high quality, original teaching materials, within a carefully explained social, geographical and chronological context. She enjoys encouraging and supporting students on their own travel adventures and on occasion includes “hands on” classroom experiences, such as artefact sessions, which enable students to interact and learn together.

Wolfgang is a qualified German teacher who has extensive experience teaching a range of students from secondary level to adults. He studied in Cologne and also taught in Britain and Australia. He enjoys imparting his knowledge and is proud of the progress his students make. Through his classes, students get an introduction to the culture, history and foibles of 'The Germans' which makes a visit to Germany more enjoyable and easier to navigate. Wolfgang has also pursued a career in journalism and has many years of experience in print, radio and TV news. He has won the Dalgety Farmers Award for Excellence in Rural Journalism, and the NSW Premier's Multicultural Media Award.

Adrian Muir is a history teacher with 30 years of classroom experience. His major interests are 20th century Germany, World War One, 20th century global politics and popular culture. When Adrian is not reading about history and politics you will usually find him in the outdoors. He is a passionate bushwalker and mountain biker. When time permits, Adrian also likes to travel. His favourite places in the world are Paris, Berlin, New Zealand and Tasmania.
