Spanish through Games (A1-A2)

Come and learn Spanish in a fun, functional and communicative way through the use of games. Gamification is an innovative learning technique that allows students to learn the language in a motivating, engaging and entertaining way. This course is aimed at students with a beginner level of Spanish or limited knowledge of the language. The four areas of the language (writing, reading, speaking and listening) will be practiced by the use of technology, traditional games or communicative games in a social and fun way.

  • Learning simple and practical sentences and vocabulary for everyday use. Learning basic conceptualised grammar (adjectives, pronouns, articles, verbs in present simple…)
  • Learning ICT (information and communication technologies) as an educational resource to learn Spanish.
  • Speaking in Spanish by the use of social and communicative dynamics.


By the end of this course students should be able to:

  1. Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
  2. Interact in a simple but understandable way
  3. Demonstrate the skills, language and attitudes required for further study of Spanish.
