Vicki Dwyer holds a Master of Music in Contemporary Voice with over 30 years of teaching experience. In addition to her expertise as a singing teacher, she is a seasoned conductor, leading a cappella choirs, and vocal ensembles for 21 years. As a distinguished Master Director with Sweet Adelines International, she sets a standard of excellence in choral music. Vicki's musical achievements extend to representing Australia in prestigious international competitions for vocal ensembles. Notably, she achieved an International bronze (3rd place) medal with her women's a cappella ensemble, Circular Keys Chorus, in 2018. Her vocal talent is also showcased in the a cappella quartets "Alouette" and "Alter Ego," frequently featured on television and radio.
With a profound passion for vocal science and singing pedagogy, Vicki continues to conduct research in voice for academic journals and as a board member of the Australian Voice Association. She seeks to expand her knowledge and shares the science behind her teaching techniques. Her approach empowers students to understand the "how" and "why" of concepts, instilling confidence in embracing their own unique voice. Vicki's teaching style caters to learners of all levels, reflecting her approachable and empathetic nature. Her ultimate goal is to unlock the potential within each singer and foster a deep appreciation and love for their voice.

Charles Fellner is a retired IT professional from Sydney. After seeing various friends being scammed, he wanted to do something to fight back. Rather than creating yet another website on the topic he decided instead to do some thorough research and then conduct presentations and group discussions at various clubs such as Rotary and Lions on the subject of scam awareness. In these presentations his focus is on the more common scams. He explains what goes on behind these scams, the steps that one should take to avoid being scammed, and what one should do if they have been scammed. He also has a strong interest in the psychology of scamming and believes this is a very important and often neglected part of the puzzle. He talks with people almost every day about scamming every chance he gets.Robert Forgacs

Robert has been a casual lecturer, tutor and post-doctoral fellow at UNSW. He has taught at the WEA since 1992 and has also lectured for CCE at Sydney University, the North-side Opera Study Group, and Opera Lunedi. He has written (and broadcast) for ABC FM, and also written for Musica Viva, and Symphony Australia. In 2013 he was a visiting Fellow at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies in Innsbruck. Among his published works are an edition of Gallus Dressler's Praecepta musicae poeticae (the University of Illinois Press, 2007), and Latin and Music in the Early Modern Era (Brill of Leiden, 2021). His edition of the complete Latin motets of Gallus Dressler was published by A-R Editions, Middleton, Wisconsin, in November 2023.Michael Gal

Matthew Gibbs - BEcon, GCertPubAff - has worked as a speaker, writer, adviser and teacher in the financial services, education and cultural industries for over 30 years. He was the General Manager of Media and Communications at the Australian Securities Exchange, serving six CEOs and four Chairs, and held similar roles at the Sydney Futures Exchange and at Axiss Australia, a public agency created to promote Australia as a financial services centre. He is a regular speaker, panellist and moderator for industry forums, training courses and cultural events. Matthew was the President of the Friends of the Nicholson Museum of Antiquities (now part of the Chau Chak Wing Museum) at the University of Sydney and presents programs on the enduring value of William Shakespeare, including touring NSW high schools with his theatre-in-education show A Bit of Bard. Christine Gietz (BA Dip Ed, Grad. Cert. in University Teaching) is the Education Manager at WEA Sydney and has held this position since 2021 and has tutored at WEA Sydney since 2012. She also tutored and lectured in education and academic writing at The University of Notre Dame Australia for several years. She is currently completing her PhD in Philosophy of Education with a view to graduating in 2025. In October 2024 she was awarded as Highly Commended Trainer of the Year from Community Colleges Australia. As a tutor, Christine has a passion for teaching poetry, Shakespeare, the English novel and Journal and Memoir Writing. She brings an engaging and personal style to her teaching that stimulates topic engagement, student interaction and enduring learning. Carolina Gonzalez, MCom, Adv.Cert (Mindfulness & Meditation), is a mindfulness and meditation teacher who has been facilitating sessions for women since 2022. Carolina holds an Advanced Certificate in Teaching and Guiding Mindfulness and Meditation with specialised training in Buddhist psychology, meditation for grief, pain, and dying, and Mental Health First Aid. Her work has been featured in Tiny Buddha and Wellbeing Magazine. She is a warm and nurturing teacher who specialises in guiding women to move beyond living in their thoughts and reconnect with their body and emotions, experiencing themselves as whole.
Carolina helps women give themselves permission to put their needs first, drop the guilt, and reclaim the parts of themselves they thought were gone. Through guided meditation, reflective exercises, and accessible mindfulness practices, she supports women to rewire conditioned patterns and access their inner wisdom. Carolina believes mindfulness should be integrated into everyday life, as it is essential for living fully, being present, and cultivating the clarity needed for intentional living.
