Raymond Younis

Ray Younis was educated at the University of Sydney (BA Hons. MA Hons.) and the University of Oxford (DPhil). He has over 30 years of teaching experience at Oxford, the University of Sydney and UNSW, among others, and is the recipient of several commendations and awards, including a certificate from WEA in recognition of 13 years of excellence in teaching. He has published many essays in books and journals. His most recent book, just published, is Promoting Flourishing: Authentic Relationships and Growth in Learners in the Digital Age; he is currently completing a book on digital media, ethics and the question of social justice. He also has over 30 years of experience as a wine consultant and educator in Oxford and Sydney.Theodora Zourkas

Theodora has a BA with double major in Sociology (UNSW), Master of Cultural Heritage (Deakin Uni) as well as Graduate Diplomas in Communication Management (UTS) and History (UNSW). Her interest centres on the history of clothing and the ways dress communicates identity, social values, and social change - an area that forms the focus of her current PhD research. She has been training adults for over 30 years in her corporate career, and since 2012 has curated numerous costume and art exhibitions and convened multiple conferences examining the role and contribution of women.
Theodora has presented her research at HR Transformation and Organisational Change conferences, and at the Museums Australia (now AmaGA) and Costume Society of America conferences. She is passionate about life-long learning and staying curious. She believes this brings people together as each person has something to contribute from learning or lived experience.
