COURSE OUTLINE
- The Concept of Qi: An introduction to life force energy and how it encompasses our physical, energetic, and emotional states.
- Adjusting the Body: Learning specific postures (standing, sitting, or moving) to ensure the body is relaxed and open.
- Adjusting the Breath: Techniques for regulating breath depth and rhythm to synchronise with the body’s movements.
- Adjusting the Mind: Using intention and consciousness to direct Qi and cultivate a focused, receptive state of mind.
- Routine Development: Learning a variety of specific exercises and movements designed to guide Qi along particular pathways.
- Cultivating Awareness: Developing the "internal eye" to recognise physical restrictions, postural habits, and mental patterns.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
