Continue developing your intermediate Swedish fluency and confidence with our Intermediate Swedish: B1.2 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Intermediate Swedish: B1.1 Course or have approximately 160 hours of prior study. This course helps you expand your ability to communicate more confidently in Swedish while strengthening your understanding of key grammar and vocabulary needed for everyday conversation. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Swedish for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise communication in situations such as discussing money and finances, expressing agreement and disagreement, comparing advantages and disadvantages, and talking about animals, nature, and sustainable lifestyles. Grammar is taught in context and includes a range of coordinating conjunctions, comparative constructions such as ju… desto, the use of present participles, and further practice with verb forms across all groups. Vocabulary development focuses on themes such as money, happiness and personal goals, the environment, animals and nature, and common idiomatic expressions, helping you communicate opinions and ideas more clearly in Swedish.
