A warm, insightful, and often humorous exploration of how women from the “Beatles generation” have experienced love, intimacy, and identity across their lives.

Drawing on personal experience, professional background in health education, and candid conversations with women aged 60 to 90, this talk looks at how social expectations, upbringing, and changing times have shaped attitudes to relationships and sexuality. Far from being purely about sex, it is a broader reflection on connection, companionship, resilience, and reinvention in later life... topics that resonate widely and encourage thoughtful (and often lively) discussion.

Suitable for a general audience, this session invites participation, shared stories, and a few laughs along the way.

Review: "As a GP caring for many older patients, I found this book profoundly revelatory. Judy Higgs gives voice to intimate concerns that are rarely disclosed in the consulting room, (especially to a male doctor). " Dr Robert Futcher
