Continue developing your beginner Spanish fluency and confidence with our Beginner Spanish: A1.3 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner Spanish: A1.2 Course or have approximately 40 hours of prior study. This course helps you strengthen your communication skills for everyday situations while deepening your understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, making it ideal for learners wanting to learn the Spanish language for travel, work, or personal enrichment in a supportive, interactive learning environment.
You will learn to talk about daily routines, habits, and food, including ordering in bars and restaurants, asking for and giving information about meals, and describing eating habits. The course also covers describing places, discussing climate and weather, and giving basic geographical information. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, including irregular verbs in the present tense, pronominal verbs, direct object pronouns, quantifiers, superlatives, and expressions with de, con, and hay. Phonetics is integrated throughout, with practice in accentuation, intonation for narration and listing, and pronunciation of challenging sounds such as ch and jota to develop clear and confident speech in Spanish.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:

- Use key Spanish grammar and vocabulary accurately in context, including irregular verbs in the present tense, pronominal verbs, direct object pronouns, superlatives, quantifiers, and expressions of location and existence.
- Communicate clearly in spoken Spanish, using correct intonation for narration and enumeration, proper accentuation, and the pronunciation of challenging sounds like “ch” and “jota”.
