This course helps you build stronger communication skills for everyday situations while expanding your understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Spanish for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise communication in situations such as talking about habits, ordering in bars and restaurants, describing places, and discussing weather and climate. Grammar is introduced naturally in context, including irregular verbs, pronouns, and quantifiers, as well as structures for expressing frequency and location. Vocabulary and pronunciation are integrated throughout, covering daily life, food, and geography, along with key accentuation and intonation patterns.

Communication
- Talking about habits; expressing frequency; asking for and giving the time
- Getting by in bars and restaurants; asking for and giving information about food
- Talking about eating habits
- Describing places; expressing existence and location
- Talking about climate and the weather
Grammar
- Verb forms: presente de indicativo (irregular verbs); poner, traer, estar; pronominal verbs
- Pronouns: direct object pronouns (lo, la, los, las)
- Structures: yo también / yo tampoco / yo sí / yo no
- Sequencing: primero, después, luego
- Prepositions and usage: de, con; hay
- Forms: superlative
- Quantifiers and interrogatives: muy / mucho / mucha / muchos / muchas; qué, cuál / cuáles, cuántos / cuántas, dónde, cómo
Phonetics
- Accentuation
- Intonation: narration and enumeration
- Sounds: /tʃ/, /x/ (che, jota)
Vocabulary
- Days of the week; times of day; daily activities
- Food; ways of cooking; utensils and containers
