Available Classes

This course is a continuation from Spanish Advanced Revision and is for any student wishing to learn the language for business, travel or everyday use with approximately 400+ hours of Spanish required. Students will have the opportunity to focus on specific skills, such as extending vocabulary in given areas, improving written language, and developing a better understanding of specific cultural and social issues relevant to the tourist industry. The class is conducted entirely in Spanish and includes individual presentations by the students, as well as group debates and discussions on Spanish current affairs, Spanish news, songs, poems, movies etc. Students enrolling should have enough proficiency/fluency to follow the class.

  • Face-to-Face

  • Tutor supplied material

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Communicate in fluent Spanish, in particular to give assistance, direction and instructions to Spanish tourists.
  2. Use advanced Spanish skills in conversation in both social and business settings.

If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
