At its meeting in mid-2025, UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee listed 26 new sites for their Outstanding Universal Value. Of these, 21 were cultural sites, and 15 of these have been chosen to illustrate the variety of different types of such sites. All 4 of the natural sites and the single mixed site will be covered Learn about the concept of World Heritage.
