Travel back to the Murray River’s golden age and discover the world of the paddle steamers that once carried passengers, livestock, wool and trade along this great inland waterway.
This course follows that history through a journey by road to Murray Bridge, three days on the Murray, and a return to Sydney via Narrandera, Gundagai, Yass and Canberra. Ideal for travellers who enjoy Australian history, river culture and the pleasure of seeing the landscape slowly unfold.
