Continue your intermediate Latin learning journey with our Intermediate Latin: Course 2, suitable for learners who have completed our Intermediate Latin: Course 1 or have approximately 100 hours of prior study. This course helps you interpret more complex Latin texts with increasing confidence while strengthening your understanding of key grammatical structures and sentence patterns. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Latin for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will work with longer passages that include a wider range of subordinate clauses and embedded structures. Grammar focuses on expanding the subjunctive system to include perfect and pluperfect forms, while syntax explores constructions such as cum clauses, indirect questions, and fear clauses. These elements are presented in context to support deeper understanding of Latin sentence structure.
