The Hohenzollern House is the dynasty of the German royal family – but that’s only since unification in 1871 and officially they ceased to be royal in 1918. But they are only one of many royal Houses, each one with its own times of rising and sinking power, and each one with personalities, relationships, and juicy scandals (thefts, sex, and abuse of power) which we can take pleasure in exploring.
