Continue developing your beginner French fluency and confidence with our Beginner French: A2.6 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner French: A2.5 Course or have approximately 180 hours of prior study. This course helps you strengthen your ability to communicate in everyday situations while expanding your understanding of French grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning French for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.

You will practise everyday communication such as talking about personal experiences, understanding safety advice and instructions, expressing emotions and feelings, planning themed weekends, describing unusual trips, and discussing personal or professional backgrounds. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context to help you describe past events using the passé composé and imperfect, highlight information, express obligation and advice, and use time markers to organise ideas clearly. Phonetics is integrated throughout the course, with focused practice on nasal vowels, pronunciation differences between past tenses, and liaison patterns to help you develop clearer and more natural spoken French.
