  • Introduction to Cantonese culture
  • Cantonese phonetics and tones (basic sounds and practice)
  • Greetings and personal introductions (name, age, nationality, and country of birth)
  • Everyday expressions (gratitude, apologies, and polite phrases)
  • Asking and answering simple questions
  • Numbers, time, days, months, and seasons
  • Shopping, hobbies, and food culture (yum cha)
  • Family members and relationships
  • Direction, transport and getting around
  • Festivals and cultural celebrations

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
