Myths are among humanity’s oldest ways of making sense of the world. Long before written history, cultures used stories to explain origins, values and the forces shaping life.

This course introduces key myths from across different cultures and explores the recurring themes and symbols that appear across continents and eras. Why do similar patterns emerge in distant societies? What do myths reveal about human experience and belief?

Through discussion and reflection, you’ll gain new insight into how myths have shaped cultures and how they continue to influence the way we see the world today.
