Start your beginner Greek learning journey with our Beginner Greek: A1.1 Course, designed for learners with no prior knowledge of Greek or those who wish to refresh the basics. This introductory course builds the foundations needed to communicate in simple everyday situations while developing your understanding of essential Greek grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Greek for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.

You will practise communication in situations such as introducing yourself, exchanging personal information, and using formal and informal greetings. Grammar is introduced naturally through these interactions, including gender agreement, basic case forms, present tense verbs, and simple sentence structures with “to be.” Vocabulary and phonetics are integrated throughout, including everyday topics such as numbers, nationalities, and daily contexts, as well as the Greek alphabet and key pronunciation features like stress, vowel length, and sound patterns.
