LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Identify plant requirements, analyse different soil types and choose suitable containers and potting mixes
  2. Recognise preferred plant locations
  3. Implement correct watering, pruning, staking and fertilizing practices
  4. Control pests and diseases without chemicals
