...Dinosaurs are fascinating, so of course you want to discover more about them in this workshop – just as the earliest collectors of fossils did, though some of them went to much more bizarre extremes than you will ever do. Those 18th- and 19th century treasure seekers wanted not only to understand the world through archaeology and science, but for their empire to own it. We will explore the evolution of dinosaurs, their representations in popular culture, alongside some ripping yarns of these remarkable collectors too.
