Windsor may be one of the jewels of the Macquarie Towns, but its history has been marked by repeated disaster. This course explores the natural and human-made crises that tested the town, from flood and fire to rebellion, war, disease and economic hardship.
As you visit sites that still bear the marks of these events, you’ll discover stories of loss, survival and recovery. A fascinating course for anyone who enjoys colonial history and wants to see how one remarkable town kept bouncing back.
