Kathleen Olive has a PhD in Italian Studies from the University of Sydney. She has taught Italian language, literature and history at the University of Sydney, University of Western Sydney and at the Centre for Continuing Education. She is also a national lecturer for the Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society (ADFAS). Kathleen travels frequently to Italy, both to pursue her research and to lead cultural tours.
