Hello! My name is Pilar, and I am a Spanish and French teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching adults and university students in Australia. I am passionate about languages and about helping students discover the joy of communicating in another language. My classes are friendly, supportive and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to practise speaking and listening in real-life situations.

I have taught Spanish and French at a range of universities and adult education institutions, including Macquarie University, UTS, the University of Sydney and WEA. I particularly enjoy teaching beginners and helping students gain confidence from the very first lesson. Outside the classroom, I love travelling, discovering different cultures, reading and, of course, speaking Spanish and French whenever I have the opportunity!

I look forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for languages with you.
