The most common questions that come to a mind about the universe are: When did it come into existence? How big is it? What does it contain? We explore these existential questions and more. We will discuss planets, constellations, time in space, telescopes and the cosmic microwave background.

DELIVERY MODE

  • Face-to-Face / Online

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Earth as a planet
  • Telescopes: How we have always looked upwards and invented telescopes to discover our solar system and how we strove to see (Hubble and Webb) and go (Apollo, Mars Rover) further
  • What we know about the universe: how it was born, discovery of other planets and galaxies, black holes, etc.;
  • What we still want to know – other life in particular;
  • What might be hoped to happen in this Universe in the next 5 to 50 years.
