Communication

  • Expressing interests and feelings
  • Talking about relationships
  • Showing disagreement in different registers; softening disagreement
  • Making counter-arguments
  • Describing the characteristics and functioning of something; giving opinions about objects

Grammar

  • Expressions: me fascina / me encanta / odio / no aguanto… (+ noun / infinitive)
  • Subordinate structures: que + subjunctive
  • Forms: superlatives (-ísimo/a/os/as)
  • Exclamatory structures: ¡qué…!, tan…, más…!
  • Relative clauses: with prepositions
  • Mood usage: indicative vs subjunctive in relative clauses

Vocabulary

  • Intonation: echo questions; parenthetical expressions
  • Verbs to express interests, feelings, and emotions
  • Habits and quirks
  • Language for expressing disagreement
  • Vocabulary to describe objects (shapes, materials, etc.)
  • Vocabulary to evaluate design; superlatives and gradable expressions
