Latin Elementary 3 is a continuation from the Latin Elementary 2 Course. The main task for students will be to consolidate the verbal and nominal systems of Latin, including enough vocabulary which will allow students to begin to read extracts from original Latin. From this linguistic work, students will also gain an appreciation of how Latin leads to an understanding of the formation political, religious, and social thought throughout the centuries.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

1. Read and understand a Latin text of the appropriate level.
2. Demonstrate the skills, vocabulary and attitudes required for further study of Latin.

LANGUAGE CLASS TRANSFER POLICY

If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
