The Uncial script has not been known for being very versatile, but this ancient script can also be adapted to produce modern versions. The variations that you develop will give you many more opportunities to use this script. We will experiment with the different ways this can be done by not only changing the shape of the traditional letterforms, but by also using a variety of tools not necessarily used with this script. Celtic designs will also be introduced. All you need to join this course is to have learnt one calligraphic script using a broad-edged nib.
