Continue developing your beginner German fluency and confidence with our Beginner German: A2.1 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner German: A1 Conclusion or have approximately 80 hours of prior study. This course helps you build stronger communication skills for everyday situations while expanding your understanding of German grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning German for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise communication in situations such as describing daily routines and responsibilities, discussing work and study, talking about hobbies and leisure activities, expressing preferences, describing your local area, and making future plans. Grammar is developed naturally through communication, including reflexive verbs, conjunctions, subordinate clause word order, the introduction of the perfect tense, and future expressions with werden. Vocabulary and pronunciation are integrated throughout, with topics including personal identity, cities and regions, daily communication, and improving fluency in connected speech.
