Available Classes

Continue developing your beginner Finnish fluency and confidence with our Beginner Finnish: A1.3 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner Finnish: A1.2 Course or have approximately 40 hours of prior study. This course helps you expand your ability to communicate in everyday situations while strengthening your understanding of Finnish grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners who want to use Finnish for travel, work, or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.

You will practise communication in situations such as describing your home, explaining where you live, and talking about how you travel to work or on holiday. Grammar is introduced naturally through these interactions, including the have-structure in present and past, Type 4 verbs, and common Finnish word types. Vocabulary and phonetics are integrated throughout, including topics such as home and transport, as well as key pronunciation features like long and short sounds.
