This Advanced course introduces high‑level creation techniques that elevate your work’s finish and is designed for students who already have a solid working knowledge of Procreate. Students learn how to build custom canvases and digital papers that mimic real materials, allowing paint to appear as if it’s sinking into the surface. You’ll design custom brushes tailored to your own style and explore how to achieve specific end results such as watercolour, gouache, oil paint and lino‑cut effects. Emphasis is placed on control, craftsmanship and producing artwork suited to a variety of end uses. This course is ideal for artists seeking greater control, realism and stylistic range in their digital practice.
Please be advised that students will need to bring their own iPad (including charger) and Apple Pencil that they know how to use as well as purchasing and downloading the Procreate app (the cost of Procreate is not included in the course fee).
