COURSE OUTLINE

  • Expressing views about contemporary issues, learning new vocabulary from everyday news such as current affairs and all fields of study concerning French culture
  • Past tenses, future and conditional, subjunctive, near future, partitive articles, direct object pronouns, time words and phrases
  • Information about what is happening in France from various medias on current affairs, arts, literature, cinema, economics

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Develop vocabulary skills in French as well as gain more confidence to express views about the numerous topics studied from various medias
  2. Develop literacy skills to both read and write in French as well as improve oral comprehension
