Print this page Wonderful Women of Windsor
Available Classes
If we were to take a survey surely at least half the population would agree that the women of Windsor are awesome! Not just now, but in the past the women were great too, living as they did in a tightly-interwoven community on the edge of the colony with higher stakes and looser boundaries. Join us, as part of our celebration of Women’s History Month, for a wander around Windsor to hear some of the stories of convicts, businesswomen, librarians, soldiers - the lovers, the healers, and the rule breakers. Meet at the Hawkesbury Regional Museum (8 Baker St, Windsor) 10 minutes before the tour starts so it can commence on time.
This walk will go ahead whatever the weather, except where the guide deems there to be a threat to health and safety. In this situation you will be contacted with an alternative date. Please ensure your mobile phone number is up-to-date with WEA before enrolling and ensure that you have it with you on the day in case the tutor needs to contact you.
