Retirement is one of the biggest transitions we experience. Moving from the structure and identity of working life to an open diary can be both exciting and daunting. With people now spending twenty years or more in retirement, planning for this stage of life has never been more important. This course explores how to prepare for and thrive in retirement by developing purpose, social connection, wellbeing and meaningful routines. Participants will learn practical techniques for designing a rewarding post-work life and consider how retirement can be continually shaped and nurtured rather than treated as a one-off event. The course also introduces the SMART Retirement software platform, with participants receiving access to a complimentary copy for personal use after the course.
