Greece has been on the travellers' list since Pausanias wrote ten books on his travels throughout. However, the Mediterranean country like its neighbours has been inundated with tourism. At times just one in five people in Greece is a native, as it struggles to maintain and balance sustainability with the need for economic returns. Learn about the issues as this course helps you plan an itinerary so that you are best informed on when to visit, choices of where to go, and options on how to travel around this magical country, its regions, island groups and its mainland.
