Professor Ray Younis was educated at the University of Sydney (BA Hons. MA Hons.) and the University of Oxford (DPhil). He has held teaching positions in philosophy of science at the University of Sydney, and in philosophy more broadly, at Oxford, ACU, UNSW, CQU and the University of Notre Dame (Sydney), among others, and senior managerial and leadership positions at Lincoln College (Oxford University), University of Sydney, CQU, Notre Dame (Sydney) and ACU, among others. He has published many essays in books and journals on philosophy, and recently contributed an essay on Bertrand’s Russell’s “Science and Religion” to Peter Stone’s Bertrand Russell: Life and Legacy (2018).
