Ray Younis was educated at the University of Sydney (BA Hons. MA Hons.) and the University of Oxford (DPhil). He has over 30 years of teaching experience at Oxford, the University of Sydney and UNSW, among others, and is the recipient of several commendations and awards, including a certificate from WEA in recognition of 13 years of excellence in teaching. He has published many essays in books and journals. His most recent book, just published, is Promoting Flourishing: Authentic Relationships and Growth in Learners in the Digital Age; he is currently completing a book on digital media, ethics and the question of social justice. He also has over 30 years of experience as a wine consultant and educator in Oxford and Sydney.
