Perry Celestino is a teaching anthropologist and traveller. He earned two honours degrees from New York and Arizona and conducted field work among the Papago Indians of America. In 1973 he came to Australia and became involved with the development of social science curricula in NSW, in particular, the Society and Culture course and teaching about the Pacific Islands. He has also been involved in adult education since 1978 and has offered almost forty different courses for the WEA.
