Shinobu has a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Area Studies in Japan; a Master's in Sociology and has completed PhD coursework in International Relations in South Korea. She has teaching experience in both Korean and Japanese languages in Community Language Courses in multiple countries and currently teaches at a University in Australia. She has a strong interest in supporting adults with second language acquisition and is currently studying for her Master of Teaching.
