Clifford Jones has spent a lifetime in academia, and holds BSc, PhD and DSc degrees from the University of Leeds. He is an elected Fellow of several bodies including the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Institute of Physics, the Institution of Chemical Engineers and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. He has broadcast widely on topics relating to his expertise, which is fuels and combustion. He is the author of eighteen books including Hydrocarbon Process Safety (2003, second edition 2014) and Dictionary of Oil and Gas Production (2014).
