Grenville Rose, BA PhD, is a registered psychologist whose PhD was on how our food preferences are shaped. Grenville worked in the food industry for over a decade and although he now works in non-government mental health organisations he retains an interest in food beliefs and thinks that we can be kind to ourselves about food and live well without stressing too much about what we are eating. He doesn't think that a 'sage on the stage' style of teaching is useful or enjoyable and believes an exchange of ideas is essential for the best learning experience. Grenville believes that learning should be both educational and fun if it is to be memorable and useful to students.
