Tadeusz Kościuszko: The Peasant Prince

Forced to flee Poland after the unhappy end of an impossible love affair, Polish noble man Tadeusz Kościuszko sought his luck as a military engineer in the American War of Independence. Returning to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1784 Kościuszko got involved in the "Defense of the Constitution", culminating in an open revolt against foreign oppression ten years later. Enjoy the story of this Polish national hero after whom explorer Strzelecki named Australia’s highest mountain.
