The 1897 building was built in the classical tradition by the new Colonial Architect, Walter Liberty Vernon. We journey across Hyde Park visiting St Mary’s Cathedral, the Archibald Fountain to arrive at the original Art Museum with its wonderful collection of art and then visit the new wing with its more modern art pieces.
