Available Classes
This course is for students who have completed Swedish Beginners 2, or an equivalent program. You will further develop basic skills to use in conversation, reading, listening and writing whilst also learning about Swedish culture. Conversational Swedish and an introduction to cultural practices will be taught, with a focus on clear explanation of basic language principles that aim to build general basic comprehension and communication skills in elementary Swedish. Classes will consist of a minimum of 1.5 hours virtual class time, together with 30 minutes worth of work to be completed independently. You will be able to contact your tutor by email or phone to ask for guidance and feedback on this work. In addition tutors may set additional homework.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Speak clearly and be understood in basic Swedish, in particular to give direction and instructions to Swedish tourists.
- Increase the skills, language and attitudes required for continued study of Swedish.
- Demonstrate the skills, language and attitudes required for further study of Swedish.
LANGUAGE CLASS TRANSFER POLICY
If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
