...Start your beginner Swedish learning journey with our Beginner Swedish: A1.1 Course, designed for learners with no prior knowledge of Swedish or those who wish to refresh the basics. This introductory course builds the foundations needed to communicate in simple everyday situations while developing your understanding of essential Swedish grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Swedish for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise communication in situations such as introducing yourself, asking and answering simple questions, describing everyday objects, and talking about daily routines. Grammar is introduced naturally through these interactions, including basic word order, present tense verbs, question formation, and simple negation. Vocabulary and phonetics are integrated throughout, including everyday expressions, numbers and time, and the pronunciation of key Swedish sounds such as long vowels, consonants, and characteristic sound patterns.
