...Start your advanced Spanish learning journey with our Advanced Spanish: B2-C1 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Intermediate Spanish: B2 Conclusion course or have approximately 400 hours of prior study. This course helps you consolidate and extend your language skills providing a structured transition from upper-intermediate towards advanced Spanish, focusing on increased linguistic accuracy, expressive range, and comprehension of more complex language. You will engage with a variety of authentic Spanish materials and activities that promote advanced communication skills for social, cultural, academic, and professional contexts. Emphasis is placed on refining spoken interaction, developing more sophisticated written expression, and deepening understanding of cultural and societal themes relevant to the Spanish-speaking world.

COURSE OUTLINE
- Continual development and extension of advanced B2 grammatical structures, with guided introduction to selected C1-level forms
- Development of advanced listening and reading skills using authentic Spanish texts of increasing complexity
- Expansion of lexical range and idiomatic usage across a variety of registers and communicative contexts
- Structured practice in extended spoken interaction and written production, focusing on coherence, precision, and appropriateness
- Exploration of contemporary Spanish cultural, social, and intellectual topics as a framework for language use
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Understand and analyse the main ideas and relevant details of extended spoken and written Spanish texts, including texts that contain abstract concepts, implicit meaning, and varied viewpoints
- Interact and express themselves with confidence and relative fluency in Spanish, sustaining discussions and presentations on familiar and less familiar topics while demonstrating improved control of register and tone
- Produce clear, well-organised spoken and written texts on complex subjects, showing increased lexical flexibility, grammatical accuracy, and effective use of connectors and discourse markers
