Spanish Intermediate Conversation (A2-B1)

This course aims to improve Spanish communication skills for everyday use at intermediate level. Students will practice and improve speaking and listening skills through simple conversations, newspaper/radio or TV news, role-playing games, debates, presentations, interviews and other communicative activities. Each class will be focused on a current topic and the vocabulary related to this and its implementation is worked on through conversation. The course is designed for intermediate students who have completed at least approximately 150 hours of Spanish. However, the course may be useful also for students at higher levels who would like to revise and consolidate elementary conversational skills.

COURSE OUTLINE

This course will help students improve their oral communication skills in Spanish using a variety of topics and in a range of everyday situations. Relevant vocabulary and sentence structures will be introduced and practised through role plays, discussions, games, presentations and activities aimed to promote fluency. Classes will consist of a minimum of 1.5 hours virtual class time, together with 30 minutes worth of work to be completed independently. You will be able to contact your tutor by email or phone to ask for guidance and feedback on this work. In addition tutors may set additional homework.
