Sydney Discovery Walks - Millers Point Walk

Often overlooked in the shadow of The Rocks precinct, the suburb of Millers Point on the top and western side of the peninsula also boasts a large number of heritage buildings and some historic pubs. Mostly associated with working class dwellings or public housing estates, the area was also home to the residences of several 19th century shipping magnates. Enjoy a leisurely two-hour stroll with Jo Gerk from Argyle Place to Dawes Point filled with entertaining facts and fiction on this new walk. Meet at the Bus Stop outside Abraham Mott Hall, Argyle Street at Watson Road 10 minutes before the tour starts so it can commence on time.

This walk will go ahead whatever the weather, except where the guide deems there to be a threat to health and safety. In this situation you will be contacted with an alternative date. Please ensure your mobile phone number is up-to-date with WEA before enrolling and make sure you take it with you on the day in case the tutor needs to contact you.
