This is a follow-up on Cryptic Crosswords I, covering the same categories of clues (plus a few more), but focusing on the way in which the basic formulas can be tweaked or elaborated, adding an extra level to the puzzle. Practise your lateral thinking on individual clues, and an English Times crossword in a combined effort. If you are already an experienced solver you do not need to have done Part I.
