"She Tried" - The Legacy of the German Chancellor

Merkel, the first female German chancellor, was re-elected for a fourth term in September 2017. Asked what she hopes history books will say about her legacy, she responded: ‘She tried.’ Take a closer look at Angela Merkel’s life and her astonishing rise.
