Germany’s 3rd largest city and capital of Bavaria is most widely known for its annual Oktoberfest, the world’s largest folk festival. Even though the Oktoberfest attracts large numbers of domestic and international tourists during the second half of each September, the city boasts many more attractions, including castles, churches and world renown museums enticing over ten million visitors annually. Within easy reach of the city are also many lakes, monasteries and other attractions – even the Alps can be seen on a clear day.


COURSE OUTLINE
Apart from a brief historic and modern economic and demographic overview, the course will concentrate on introducing the major tourist attractions impressing visitors to Munich:

  • Castles
  • Museums
