One of the great mysteries of history – just when did China discover Australia? More importantly – what happened after Chinese people started living (or staying) here: aims, work, and often savage treatment by the broader community, and how the Chinese community survived and thrived, producing people like Quong Tart, Billy Sing and Victor Chang. History, generally, can default to telling the stories of the rich, white men at the top, but they are not the only people who have built and participated. Meet some strong Australians who have contributed to making us the people we are today.
