Each fortnight we will examine the life and primary work(s) of each lady along with screed adaptations of their novels. Find out why their iconic works are still beloved in the 21st century.

- Mary Shelley and Frankenstein
- Emily Bronte and Wuthering Heights

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Place each novelist and their works within the context of time and society
- Understand the techniques and styles of the works of each novelist which makes them iconic
- Appreciate the enduring nature of these works
- Identify adaptations of the various works.
